We are aiming to have a balanced zine in terms of artists and writers and feature as many contributors as possible. The Interest Check will help focus the current concepts the mod team is debating. What is a ‘pinch hitter’?
If you are not initially accepted into the zine, but express interest in being a pinch hitter, you may be asked to join in place of someone who left/was removed from the project. If you are brought onto the project as a contributor, and no other pinch hitters outside of the project are available, this means you may be asked to do a second piece. What kind of merch will the zine have?
If we're able to make a physical zine, we will have a mix of physical and digital items. Otherwise, we will offer digital merch only.
Our interest check will provide an example of some of the merch we intend to offer. The final line up will be decided based on the pitches of merch artists and the mod team’s direction. Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes. You can apply to as many positions as you would like. However, please keep in mind there is a high probability you would be accepted in only one role.If I have any further questions, where do I ask them?
